Have had the bass for about 6 months and have nothing but good to say about it. It's a very playable bass. Light weight, but with the mahogany and maple body it still has plenty of snap and low end. O... read more [+]ne of the few basses I have owned that has a clear and in tune low F note on the E string. Low B is tight and clear. At least with the DiAddario strings I use. YMMV with whatever strings you use. Seems to hold a tune forever. I played two weeks ago at church and pulled the bass out to play today and only one string need tuning. Though I didn't know if I would grow to like the blue color,( I've always been sort of a woodgrain guy myself so wish they offered other color options)it looks great on stage under the lights. One of the better basses on the market for the great price. Pickups a 5, electronics a 5, playability a 5, looks a 4.5. I do pine for the old days when you got a hardshell case! If your looking for a keeper in a mid level bass, give it a try. I think you'll be suprised close [-]
