Customer Reviewsfrom San Leandro Ca September 11, 2006Music Background: Recording enginer w/ BA MicsThe only bad thing about these is that they require a perfect amount of phantom power exactly 48 volts at 10ma. most condenser mics use about 9-17volts and the rest is sent to ground, so a lot of companys don't put a full 48 volts in there pre amps, interfaces. so you might need a phantom power box, but well worth the sound and quailty. makes great sounding drums everytime.

from milwaukee, wisconsin September 1, 2004 earthworks sr77'sby far, some of the greatest microphones i have ever used. i pair them up with my amek 9098i mic preamp, and they get the most accurate sound. i can record an entire band with 2 mics, or put them around an acoustic guitar, and they do the trick. if you have the money, get both the sr77 matched pair and the amek preamp. |
