I studied, shopped and played everthing for almost a year before deciding on this bass. I love it, it is very light and the neck is very thin, easy to play. The sounds I can get are great. The reviews... read more [+] I read are right on, a couple small detractors, but FAR outweighed by value.February 21, 2012 Music Background: Bass player I have not seen anything that compares at this price point ($300). The only thing I really didn't like is the battery connector is poor, I couldn't get the battery out and then a new one wouldn't go back on it easily. I will replace this soon. The bridge adjusting screws are very loose and I will remedy that too. Nothing major. I played it out for the first time this weekend and loved it. Looks real nice too, pearl white.
