Mackie's active electronics technology draws optimum clarity and output from its 15" low-frequency transducer. The driver's high-temperature voice coil can keep pushing without overheating gig after gig. A 300-watt amp provides plenty of power, and the specially-tuned ported enclosure optimizes bass response.

Clean, clear highs for vocal projection
The SR1521z incorporates a 1.75" high-frequency compression driver for crystal-clear high frequencies. The built-in, patented WaveFront wide-dispersion horn design disperses those critical highs to your entire audience. That means your vocals will cut through every time! The SR1521z gives you big-time sound quality with a mighty 133dB of output.

Roadworthy construction and reliable electronics
The SR1521z's cabinets are made of thick Baltic birch plywood infused with a pressure-injected resin, can stand up to the worst the road can dish out. The cabinets are specially weight-balanced to make them easy to carry. And just like all the SR-Series loudspeakers, the SR1521z features Mackie's rock-solid integrated active electronics that eliminate the need for external amplifiers, crossovers or processors.
