With the XL version of Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio 7, you get a ton of great virtual instruments and plug-ins - a tremendous added value. The Cakewalk Studio Instruments suite includes a high-quality Drum Kit, Bass Guitar, Electric Piano, and String Section that can be played stand alone or inside SONAR Home Studio XL - perfect for recording rich sounds, then taking them to the stage or to practice. XL also includes Studio Devil VGA+ Guitar Simulator, offering incredible guitar and bass tones and models - just plug your guitar or bass in direct and get recording. The included Boost 11 Peak Limiter is a great mastering tool, giving you more volume and punch from your final mix with 64-bit double precision and up to 192kHz operation. Other included instruments are a powerful step sequencer, the Garritan Pocket Orchestra, and the acclaimed Cakewalk LE synth with real instrument sounds and tons of synthesized instruments.

Cakewalk's also simplified the Instrument Tracks to make it easier than ever to just set up, play, and record virtual instruments. A Loop Explorer allows you to audition both audio and MIDI loops on the fly, and an Input Quantize feature helps you record your MIDI tracks in perfect time.

Powerful Synth Rack
SONAR Home Studio 7 XL's Synth Rack helps you control VSTi and DXi instruments in your project window - all from one place. Using the Synth Rack, it's easy to find instruments quickly with customizable Synth Icons and you can even display customized controls for each instrument.
