I love this productI am in love with the new user interface in SONAR. I came over from Cubase and after dealing with window clutter for year, it's nice to see a pretty clean trackview that is totally dock-able. The instruments and FX that ship with SONAR X2 are also pretty incredible. I love ZETA and am really digging the new ProChannel. It feels like I am in a pro studio. I wish it shipped with a manual but their online help seems to do the trick. Also, I had an issue with installation of Rapture, and customer service was great. I have already mixed 4 projects over the past month and I have been pretty impressed with the results. Highly recommend.

sonar x2 producerI love Sonar x1 and sonar x2 is a great upgrade. Breverb kick arse, love it. TH2 is very clean and easy to use. Like the sound. But 4 instances of that is taking some CPU load so I frezze the Guitar tracks. Love the console emulation and pro channel FX presets. Love the take lanes and automation lanes. It does have some bugs and crashed but I am not sure it is Sonar's fault. I heard sometimes certain hardware or antivirus does interfere with Sonar. If it is crash free I would give X2 5 stars. But the 99 dollar upgrade from X1 is a no brainer.

Going in the right directionI have been a Sonar user since Sonar 7 producer. After Sonar 8.5 I left Sonar because apart from the virtual instruments and midi capabilities it was not offering more than my Vegas Pro audio capabilities. (for my needs that is) The new software interface is awesome, and the pro channel is terrific. I have used virtual emulators before and this one is great. I think Sonar is starting to find it's way back into my production line up.
