Absolutly professional. This is as good as it gets. And, do yourself a favor, and add the Producer Expanded upgrade as well. How would you like to be able to add (for just a few dollars as an add on)a meticulosly modeled after LA-2A.....(called a PC-2A) on every channel!! You can, once you have added Expanded!! I am running 32 tracks.....so thats 32 modeled LA-2A's ,which in the hardware version??? would cost you about 96,000 dollars!!! This software system is one of the best I have ever seen. They have been developing software for 20 years+ now, leaving most of their competitors in the dust. And the X1-Producer is the finest and most professional system they have ever developed. I am in a Pro Tools town... Nashville, Music City USA. And I would not swap this system out for anything. Period.To compete with this software??? you would have to spend MEGA dollars with (you know who) and go WAAAYYYY up into their HD vesions and all the added hardware, plug in's, spending an absolute fortune....when it's already here in one box with Sonar Producer and the Expanded upgrade. I am VERY proud to say I don't run PT when people ask. These PT guys have no idea...until I turn on my dual LEDS, and Producer Expanded comes up...and they see the screen layout, all the Expanded Pro Channels opened up in full glory....with a modeled LA-2A staring them in the face on every channel...and then their jaws drop... and rightly so.You don't know what your missing, until PROVEN otherwise!!! The screen sets are excellent, the performance and sound are SECOND TO NONE, the operation is excellent. All in 64 bit. And you can import and export in ANY format that you choose. And the Pro Channel is just that. A Professional channel capable of handling anything and everything modeled after some of the most sought after mixing console's components.Once you use this software, you will never look back. THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING RECORDING SOFTWARE, BEFORE HALF OF THE COMPANYS TODAY WERE EVEN IN EXSISTANCE. (including you know who) Does that tell you anything?
They should market themselves as the "indusry standard", because they invented half to most of it over the past twenty years anyway!!!!, but they don't. They don't jam anything at anyone.They just quietly move along, and develope the best recording software in the industry.That's what they do best, develope software, and EVERY competitor, copies it over the next 5 years, which by then, they are already 5 years ahead of everyone again, as they have always been.They are not trying to sell you 100,000 dollar controller or ouboard expensive gear , they just want you to use their software, which is the best recording software that YOUR money can buy. Let me give you a formula to have the best sounding studio in a 500 mile radius of where you live. BUY A CREATION STATION FROM SWEETWATER LIKE I DID!!!, (a serious pro machine and worth every cent) BUY PRODUCER!!!, UPGRADE TO EXPANDED!!!, AND STOP WASTING TIME READING FORUMS!!!! COMPARING THIS TO THAT!!! GET TO WORK!!! AND START MAKING HIT RECORDS !!!!! Enough said.

Sonar X1 Upgrade Worth Every Penny

Great upgrade to an already strong product. I upgraded from a very early version and I didn't have the older version installed at the time. The Cakewalk server knew I was a registered user and must have allowed the install. I am very happy with the software. I am also happy with my sales guy! He even called to see if there were any issues with the install and if everything was OK. Who DOES that with software???? Sweetwater does! :-)

Sonar x1 Producer

I just upgraded from Sonar 6 and wow what a difference I really like it, unfortunatley not being a tech guru I fond the back end very difficult to set up but with the help of some fine firends I am up and running, still got an awful lot to learn but so far I really like it.

What would be really helpful is an idiots guide to setting the back end up, not all of us understand the tech lingo andf it would be really helpful to have something in ye plain olde english.
