Sweetwater modified the FENDER^® Standard Stratocaster^® to give you a hot-rodded Strat^® experience right out of the box. We start with the tried-and-true Fender Strat^®, and supercharge it with a Seymour Duncan Little '59 Humbucker™ at the bridge. Then we mod the wiring to give you a tone control for that pickup. You get the iconic Stratocaster look, with upgraded tone courtesy of Sweetwater's factory-certified guitar workshop. Sweet-Mods pack an amazing sonic punch, and no other retailer's got 'em. Our experienced, factory-authorized guitar technicians have outfitted these guitars with the hot pickups, wiring enhancements, and great features today's players demand, saving you from the stress and expense of performing major surgery on a brand-new axe. The Seymour Duncan Little '59 delivers warm P.A.F. voicing, in a single-coil-sized humbucker
The Fender Standard Stratocaster comes standard with with three single-coil pickups, serving up all the spank and sparkle you expect from a Strat^®. Your Sweet-Mod begins with a Seymour Duncan SL59-1 Little '59 pickup, substituted in the bridge position, adding classic P.A.F. humbucker sound and massive versatility to your tonal arsenal. We even mod the wiring so that the second tone knob controls the bridge pickup, while the first tone knob controls the neck and middle pups. (Standard Strat wiring gives you tone controls for the neck and middle pickups, but none for the bridge.)

When Leo Fender introduced the world to his newest creation, the Stratocaster^®, nobody could possibly have known it would change the face of contemporary music forever. The fast-action maple neck, the comfort-contoured alder body, three pickups and standard synchronized tremolo - this is where the tradition began and still carries on today in the amazingly playable, affordable Standard Series Stratocaster^®.
