Customer Reviewsfrom Newport Beach, CA USA November 18, 2011Music Background: Retired recording engineer, radio station engineer. Shure SM 63I've been very pleased with the Shure SM 63. It's smaller and lighter than I imagined. My only complaint is that the grill on top is white plastic and looks kind of cheap. Sound wise, the mike is intended for voice, and is excellent for that purpose. It's relatively immune to wind, although by blowing directly into it you can get some noise, it's fairly immune from pops from p's and t's. Sadly, the recommended external pop filter does not fit it, but I make it work with a rubber band around the bottom - a bit tacky. It is relatively immune from handling noise. |
