Ok, I've had a Rode K2 for about 5 years now, and notwithstanding I've dropped the shockmount a time or two, the plastic arm broke and I'm about to have to get a new one. Not a problem, but I would t... read more [+]hink the plastic arm connecting the web mechanism and the screw receiver would be a little thicker. Overall, it's a much better shock mount that the one I previously had issues with, the Shure KSM 27 mount with the very cheap rubber strings which broke after only 2 years. You would think Shure would have utilized an actual elastic string instead of rubber string on their KSM 27 mounts. close [-]
