SLX Diversity Wireless Systems from Shure!

Suited for installed sound applications and working bands, Shure's new SLX Wireless Systems offer Shure's patented Audio Reference Companding technology, along with a setup complete with automatic synchronization, SLX supports up to 20 compatible systems (area dependent). The new system, which sits in between Shure's Performance Gear Wireless and ULX Wireless lines, is a logical choice for houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, lecture halls, and portable road cases.

This operates at 518.000–542.000 MHz.

SLX: Clear Transmissions
The SLX sound is founded on Shure's patented Audio Reference Companding, a technology which brings more transmission clarity and dynamic range to wireless systems. Unlike traditional wireless companding schemes that are restricted by a fixed compression ratio, this technology utilizes a variable compression ratio. The result is the elimination of wireless artifacts during quiet passages and superior dynamic range says Shure.

SLX: Simple Setup!
On an operational level, the SLX system employs features that make setup almost effortless. Utilizing Auto Frequency Selection and Auto Transmitter Setup, the SLX system scans the wireless landscape and identifies a clear channel instantly. Then, guided by an infrared link, at the touch of a button the transmitter automatically syncs with the receiver. With over 960 operating frequencies across 24 MHz of UHF bandwidth, you should be able to quickly and easily set up up to 20 systems in a given location (area dependent).

SLX: Diversity Reciver
The SLX4 (shown here) is a rugged metal wireless receiver that utilizes diversity technology to improve reception and minimize dropouts. The SLX4 is outfitted with rack-mount hardware, detachable 1/4-wave antennas, a backlit LCD display, 1/4-inch and XLR output connectors, frequency and power lockouts, an In Line power supply, and a rear-panel volume control. Finally, the multi-function LCD displays group, channel, frequency, transmitter battery strength, and locked/unlocked status.

SLX: Handheld & Bodypack Transmitters
SLX's handheld and bodypack transmitters both present users with a choice of Shure's legendary microphones, a timed backlit LCD, frequency and power lockouts, 300 ft. (100m) of operating range, and operate on two AA batteries for eight hours of continuous use. The SLX bodypack transmitter works with optional headworn, lavalier, and instrument microphones and cables. Handheld transmitters are offered with SM58, SM86, Beta 58A, Beta 87A, and SLX2Beta87c capsules.

Note: The entire SLX series is a component-based system. This allows you to purchase each piece individually. This is the SLX4 wireless receiver.

Worry-free Wireless!

We wanted you to know that all of the wireless systems you see here - and all of the wireless systems available at Sweetwater - are 100% compliant with the Federal Communication Commission's new rules governing wireless systems. You can be confident that these systems will work safely and within the permitted frequency/power ranges, just as they are. However, please be aware that by choosing to use systems that operate in the 700MHz range or by modifying a new wireless system you receive from us, you may cause your system to operate outside the FCC's new guidelines. If that's the case, you may need a license to operate the unit. To find out more, visit the FCC's wireless microphone website at www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones or give them a call at (888) CALL-FCC.

Our Customers Say...

I can talk to my Sales Engineer about any piece of equipment, and he always steers me in the right direction. He truly knows what he's talking about, and he never tries to over-sell me on anything. If he worked in the Nashville area, I'd probably owe him about 20 dinners by now!
