I used this SUPER STRONG rack shelf as a 1 space drawer by installing it upside down. It has small latches on the sides that release the locking system that holds open the shelf, halfway and fully ext... read more [+]ended. You will really need to attach the drawer slides at the back of the rack, in order to support a lot of weight. This requires rack mounting strips at the back of your rack box. My rack box did not have these so I had to make little blocks to secure the shelf. That was not easy. The quality is amazing and the slides are smooth and vey heavy duty. close [-]
