Customer Reviewsfrom Mo. USA December 6, 2011 Music Background: Musician; Semi-Pro Engineer Good, Portable RackI purchased this to replace a much heavier rack that was breaking my back! This lightweight rolling rack serves quite nicely to port my outboard compressors, equilizers and FOH outboard gear for gigs that are not always easy to get to. It rolls right in like a travel suitcase and makes setting up a breeze.from North Dakota October 15, 2010 Music Background: Live Sound Engineer Built LightI was looking for a lighter alternative to my shock-mount rack case that weighs about 80 pounds empty. This is case very light, however it is built so light and cheap that I am not confident it will hold up. The latches on the front are light and cheaply made - the rear cover is barely held on by 2 plastic rotating tabs. The rear cover is loosely fitted, so it actually slides back and forth when you move the case. Instead of threaded rails, there are clips with a nut welded to it that screw threads into. Lose a clip and you are out of luck. the pulling handle is really lightly built - I have seen better on $20 rolling backpacks.Wish I could have looked at this somewhere before I ordered it. from Wilmington NC February 14, 2009 Music Background: Audio Post and Music Engineering SKB provides no side ventialation spaceSKB-RLX6 and similar rack design provides no side ventilation space. There is not enough space for side mounted fan to function on Pro Tools 96 i/o.I realized this after 2 channels failed after operating in this rack for just a few days. Och! If you have equipment without side vent you should be okay with this product. Also the attached rubber bumpers smelled so bad I had to remove them. |
