Customer Reviewsfrom Concord, California December 12, 2011 Music Background: Hobbyist - Guitar and Mandolin Player Gibson J200 HeavenI like that I could see the guitar I was buying on the website. I had been looking at it for weeks and ordered it on a Monday and had it on Thursday. The customer service was excellent and I am more than happy with the quality of the guitar, how well it was packed, how quickly it was delivered, and how much the Sweetwater people care about their customers.from monticello, n. y. December 20, 2009 Music Background: pro musician The J=200 Custom truly a dream guitar! reveiw by Dennis NewbergIt doesn't get any better than this. This is ultimate jumbo body guitar and its no accident that you see noel from oasis and other superstars using this guitar for their acoustic work. Besides being an incredibly beautifull instrument, the depth of the low end and the balanced highs will blow you away. Yes its expensive so is a rolls royce and thats what this guitar is. This guitar will double in value in 15 years and quadruple in 30 so its one of the best investments you can make and definately the most fun. Take care of this beauty because the pleasure you will get from this masterpiece is priceless.from Sacramento, CA September 18, 2010 Music Background: Longtime Musician. Is it worth the $$?Don't get me wrong, the guitar is beautiful, aesthetically. The inlays are remarkable, the materials are the best. Bought mine from Sweetwater in April 2010 and since then, here are a couple of problems: If you are a person who perspires, forget about keeping the finish in any condition at all. After the first couple of times I played it, I noticed a dulling in the finish where my right forearm rests. This dulling is impossible to fix. The setup as delivered makes the guitar almost impossible to play due to the distance of the strings from the neck. Had to get a setup done and there are not many luthiers that will take that on. The Fishman Elipse Aura is a piece of sh&T. Uses a 9-volt batter that is almost impossible to put in unless you take the strings off and only lasts for a couple hours of play time. Save yourself some $$ if you're thinking about buying the guitar and get it without the pickup. There are several out there that are much cheaper and better sounding. I guess overall, if you're into looking at a guitar this is the one you want. If you're actually gonna play one, you might not want to buy it.
