The Gibson SG Tribute is the best guitar I have ever owned. I really cannot say enough about this. The craftsmanship is top of the line. The color and stain is perfect. While the cosmetics of this are amazing, it's really the tone that soars. She just sings. I play very heavy music and play through an Orange RV50 half stack. The combination of the SG and the Orange are out of this world. I'm getting anxious just writing this. You will not be disappointed in anyway. It's simple, beautiful and just a pleasure to play. Gibson USA just gets it - great quality for a really great price.December 1, 2011 Music Background: Semi-pro musician A couple of things to note: The "worn natural" description is a bit misleading - it's not worn (or antiqued), it is just a smooth natural wood with no clear coat. Personally I love the look. Unusual for an SG and it reminded me of my first bass, a Gibson Grabber. Also note, the gig bag fits the guitar a bit snug, especially when ducking the headstock in at the top. Find for running to practice but consider getting a hardshell case if you plan to take this out frequently. Lastly, Mark T. at SW made this a smooth and easy purchase, and I really love the SW site with all the photos of the actual guitar I was buying.
