Like the Good Old Days...

It's a Gibson alright: great neck, Humbucker wail, gorgeous looks, solid construction and matte finish, endless sustain, perfect intonation and balance, smooth action, lightening fast fingerboard. This exact model was my first rock electric way back in 1971. This reissue is a much higher quality IMO. This is my nostalgia SG and is now also my #1 go to guitar...when I get tired carrying that Doubleneck around...yeah maybe they make better quality SG's over at Gibson but who cares! This one was only 699...had to get it. No regrets.

Love it!!

I played it in the store and knew it was the one. I havent played one that I like better yet (Including the standard and a les paul that was 3 times more). The finish on mine looks awesome to me but Ive seen other ones with finishes I wasnt impressed with so they seem to vary. I love the tone and especially the neck, a wide nut width but somewhat skinny profile. It just seems to fit in my hand perfectly. Definately a keeper.
