Customer Reviewsfrom NYC October 15, 2012Music Background: Musician/Songwriter Great GuitarI came across one of these when I was trying out a low watt amp at my local dealer. I picked this out to listen to the amp and loved the guitar instantly. Even though the action wasn't right for me I could tell it was a good player and the sound of the p90 was powerful and raw as one would expect. It has more output than my 65 firebird and sounded good both distorted and clean.Once I brought it home and set it up it became exactly what I thought it would - an easy playing powerhouse. Intonation was perfect and the fret work and finger board are well done. Every now and then Gibson nails it. There is always one line that they bring out that is above their other stuff. This is one of them. As with any guitar, I may have just found a good one but it's worth checking out. from Nebraska,USA January 26, 2012Music Background: Hobbyist Great GuitarThis guitar is amazing, I didn't know what to expect and when I took it out of the case it blew my mind. This thing is light, I play Epiphone Les Pauls and a Gretsch double jet so this feels like a feather. The fret board on mine is way darker then the picture so I cant even tell the difference from rose wood. Sweetwater has it set up perfect no fret buzz no problems at all. Plus the 3 easy payments makes it super affordable. I would recommend this guitar to anyone wanting a quality USA made Gibson Guitar at a great price!!!!from Norway December 5, 2011Music Background: Musician / Recording Engineer / Live Sound Engineer Nice guitar! This is a real player! Raw and gutsy sound from the P90. Nice sustain combined with a light weight body. The setup was fine, except for intonation which I had to adjust. In spite of the simple wrap around bridge, the intonation (when adjusted) is actually quite good.Only reason I won't give it max rating is due to the fact that my example had a bump on the lower top edge of the body made by the inside of the gig bag's zipper. It's only visible on close inspection. I'm really happy with the guitar, and do not hesitate to recommend it! from steinbach/mb Canada March 17, 2012Music Background: recording hobbyist awesome instumentit's not a reissue, that's what i thought, when i bought it! you see a lot of differences ,when you hold a 62 and this side by side, but it seems they altered the p-90 pickup,it sounds more powerful, i like it a lot !!!!!
