Gets better all the time
by DOW from Ohio, September 2008

I've had this guitar for about 6-8 months, and the more I play it, the more I like it. It has an amazingly easy and light feel, very comfortable, and the sound is very clean, and can be made to be very acoustic-like and also jazzy or bluesy leads. Very nice finish and feel. For the price, very hard to beat.
One of the finest semi hollows you can buy at any price

I am 51 and have owned way more gear than thee is room to write here but I have to say that The PRS custom SE semi-hollow is one of the finest guitars I've ever owned. It has the sweetest sound and plays like a dream. I was concerned that the "wide, fat carve neck" would be like a baseball bat...mot so..it is extremely comfortable and this guitar plays like butter. It has become one of my ver favorites rating right up there with my Fender American Deluxe Ash Strat and I find myself playing it more than any other. Pass on it if you want to play metal , buy it if you want a totally playable sound machine...Tuners are excellent, workmanship superb and a delight to play..The finest semi hollow you'll every buy for the money and you could spend a thousand or so more and end up with half of what this guitar can give you. It is quickly becoming my favorite guitar and the pickups are sweet. A must have for anyone wanting the open sounding semi-hollow sound and an absolute STEAL for the money. This is the best money I have ever spent on a guitar and it is worth much more than the price

this guitar was amazing. i used to own a ibanez gio (basically the ibanez started guitar) and this was such a big step up. in got it from PMT birmingham. the action was a bit high andd the internation was a bit out but thats what you expect. the tone was great and was exeptional at both top and bottom end. i would recoment this to any guitarist who is looking to play blue, rock anything really. also any guitarist whos looking to upgrade (like me)dont bother with the £300 mark just keep going and get a £500, well worth the wait. definatly the best guitar in this price range. incase you wanted to know i played this through a marshal JTM60 (valve)
THIS GUITAR BLEW MY SOCKS OFF.
This guitar is well worth the wait.

Paul Reed Smith has really hit the nail on the head with this one, and this guitar is truly one of the best(If not the best) in it's price range. Amazing playability(It weighs nothing, sometimes on stage I barely notice that I'm wearing it), it has a beautiful tone(Although I might change the pickups out for something a bit jazzier, the stock pickups have a sweet high end punch that's awesome for somethings, although with some better pickups it'd probably sound like a Gibson ES.) and it is pretty much dirt cheap. Probably the best gigging guitar I've ever owned(Besides my Ovation Balladeer)
Plays Great

This guitar is nice. For the price of the insturment it really rocks. It's light and resignates well with fretboard. It's nice. My experience is three Tom Andersons and a real Paul Reed Smith. I don't have these guitars anymore. This guitar is very nice.

Purchased at Ft.Worth guitar show. Played the guitar at the show thru a little battery powered amp. Simply put the guitar almost played itself, made me look good, drew a crowd for my playing, and sounded terrific even thru the little cheapo amp! Lightweight, resonant, and am now using it as my main guitar in my band, RELIX (mix of new , classic and light rock, and a little blues).Excellent quality. best axe I have ever played, and I own a '68 Goltop Paul, USA strat, Tele, another Les Paul, a Yamaha Pacifica etc,.As good or better quality as any guitar I have ever laid hands on. I play thru a Dual Rectifier and the sound is just RIGHT, superior note definition and crystal clear sound, just adjust your pick hand position to reveal an awesome array of different sounds. I am going to get one in each color when they come available. It will really inspire your playing.
