Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0 is my go-to drum instrument, and The Metal Foundry SDX expansion pack is where I build most of my kit templates. Most of the music I work on requires a wide dynamic range, and with nearly 40 GB worth of content, I can find exactly the sound I need, whether it's a delicate splash cymbal or a snare drum that sounds like a .357 being fired right by your ear.

Metal up!!

I've only given it a 4.5 because I haven't been able to utilize the Ex Pak fully. Nothing because of the software though. All in all, the samples are amazing, the grooves are solid.. If you want to expand your SD with some metal sounding drums, GET THIS EX PAK!!! As soon as I get my e drums, laptop and audio interface to work well, I will be recording and running this to it's full potential and I will update my rating accordingly.
