Customer Reviewsfrom Alabama December 6, 2012Music Background: lead guitarist - Christian rock band The Last Amp I Will Ever PurchaseI bought this amp and 2x12 Budda closed back cabinet used off of ebay. This is the best amp I have ever played. I was so tired of trying to dial in a perfect tone without any success with previous amps. It is so frustrating to spend hours tweaking and still not reach that sound in your head. This amp is so easy to use compared to other amps I have played and owned. When I plugged this amp in the first time I set all EQ to 12:00 and haven't changed the settings since. The cleans are warm and pristine and the drive is very harmonically rich. The amp is also very responsive to guitar volume control and tone knobs and to pick attack. I will never own another amp. I am so glad I bought this and would recommend it to anyone based on sound, simplicity and versatility. This amp is also built to last. The guys a Budda should be proudfrom Tacoma, Wa December 1, 2012Music Background: Guitarist, Songwriter Stupid GoodSome guitarists want amps with tons of bells and whistles....I'm a no nonsense guy with not a lot of patience twirling this knob and that. I just want the clean channel to be very warm and clean, and I want the dirty channel to be able to scream with a searing quality and yet still have the tube warmth. The two different channels are accessible from the front panel controls, but obviously the provided foot-switch( which is very well made as well) is the way to go when playing. There is really very few amps that sound this good--- Orange is in there but since orange to my visual taste does not appeal to me it's not in the plan. So if you want the killer sound of a EL84 tube amp and want looks too....Budda is your cuppa tea mate! This 30 watt head is so good in the classic "High Gain" arena.By- the -way the Budda Superdrive 30 is so loud it's ridiculous.Straight up.....your search is over for dreamy and creamy tone! |
