Excellent Product

This piece of equipment does the trick. Easy to operate and does what it's supposed to do. This compressor is worth the purchase. No fancy frills; it gets the job done smoothly.

Tight live vocals on a budget

Four channels of compression for a budget price made this unit very attractive for our church. I can't argue with the results, as the vocals are now able to cut in the mix. We also use the fourth channel to limit the pastor's headset, as he he can go from whispering to yelling in an instant. Any noise mentioned in other reviews in unnoticeable in the live environment.

Nice package at a good price

I needed a single space 4 channel compressor for the group iCande. The 4 girls use wireless mics and i needed to compress the output for a smoother sound. I first tried patching the wireless output signal in line through the compressor but it was too low for it to deal with. When I used insert cables off each channel of the mixer it worked great. The unit works fine and is easy to control, nice indicator lights to let you see what effect it is having on the signal. It seems to be a little noisy, no big deal for live shows, but might not be a good choice for studio work.

Not too bad for it's price point.

For the money this unit isn't too bad. As stated in the other review it is a bit noisy. The gating leaves something to be desired. It has and audible click when triggered. I have used it inserted on live vocals as well as in-line sends to record feeds for both audio and video and I haven't heard any complaints from the video people and my demo type recordings have been acceptable. If you need a decent compression unit and don't have much a very big budget, it's worth giving this unit a try.
