The S•com Series offers professional dynamics processing and performance at great prices. Extremely flexible, the 4-channel S•com 4 is perfect for all your important audio tasks. Each channel features Expander/Gate and Compressor/Limiter. You can use the channels individually or as a pair of stereo dynamics processors. The Expander/Gate sections offers Threshold control as well as a switch to select either fast or slow release times. On the Compressor/Limiter section you'll find variable Threshold, Ratio and Output levels. In attack and release mode the S•com 4 really earns high praise with its ability to analyze the audio input and automatically adjust the attack and release parameters.

“I needed a single space 4 channel compressor for the group iCande. The 4 girls use wireless mics and i needed to compress the output for a smoother sound. I first tried patching the wireless output signal in line through the compressor but it was too low for it to deal with. When I used insert cables off each channel of the mixer it worked great.
