Sound-isolating Earbuds from Shure!

NOTE: Due to the personal nature of earbuds, they are not returnable.

Sound isolating and unobtrusive Shure earphones are designed specifically for use with Shure PSM systems and deliver the incredible sound and performance that ear buds and other headphones simply can't. Don't go In Ear without them.

The universal 3.5mm (1/8 in.) plug connects to Shure's PSM body pack receivers, as well as many other personal audio applications where high fidelity is deemed appropriate.

How to use your SLC'3

After doing some research on in-ear monitors and feeling confident I purchased two pair of Shure SLC'3 from Sweetwater.

My experience:

1. There is a break in period with ... read more [+]these units similar to the procedure required with some studio monitors. I ran them through a source at moderate volume, bass heavy for about two hours resulting in a significant improvement in sound quality.

2. You choice of ear pieces greatly affects the bass response. The large black foam pieces while providing the best noise canceling result will tend to soak-up lower bass response.

I would suggest the "gray" rubber ear pieces
as they provide clear tight bass response and good noise canceling properties.

Over all: Excellent units, well made and sturdy
while providing exceptionally balanced sound. close [-]

I have played prof. for 20+ years. I'm a die hard wedge man myself, that is until I purchased these beauties!

Very VERY nice. Super clean clarity, and when I use the wedge style ear bud... read more [+]s my hears are totally sheltered from the blarring guitar amp that is about 3 feet away from me. I can hear my keys all vocals, everything is wicked cool. They do take some getting used to.

I have an 8 chnl mixer that I put my keys into, along w/ my vocals, then send a signal to the main board, and loop it back to my aux in and I merely plug the earbuds into the "earphone" jack in my mixer and I hear everything that is going into the main board. Very cool WAY worth the investment of 150 bucks. close [-]

Most of the members of our worship team use these great little ear buds. The sonic quality is really astounding, I fell that they sound just as good as our $300 studio headphones (from another MAJOR b... read more [+]rand). However; in the past 2 years we've had to replace 5 of these units. They have either shorted out somewhere, or have actually broken! The very small section that holds the interchangeable ear piece has broken on 2 of the units making them completely unusable. Very disappointing for a unit that sounds SO good. close [-]
