From Our Research Team:

One of the Best Effects Pedals Available

TC Electronic's Stereo Chorus/Flanger Pedal boasts three different effects - chorus, pitch modulation, and flange -with extensive parameter control that lets you easily dial in the exact sound that suits your needs, from the ultimate clean chorus, heavy-duty flanging, to extreme tremolo/vibrato effects. The SCF has a silkiness un-matched by digital gear. The SCF is powered by a regular AC power chord, so there's no adapter or battery to worry about. Other features include an onboard preamp/line driver, which allows the SCF to work in a whole range of applications and also helps reduce signal loss along long cables; an overload LED; and remote bypass. There's even an LED that shows the effect's status and blinks at the currently selected sweep rate. Ask any pro: the SCF is one of the best chorus pedal available!

THE chorus pedal

I've this pedal in my rig since 2000, and I always have it on. I don't even think about it. I just love it. I've tried many other chorses before and since, and by comparison, they aound too warbly ... read more [+]or add too much presence on the high end. The flanger in it is a different animal and you have to set the knobs a bit differently for it to be effective (no pun intended), but it occassionally comes in handy. close [-]

One of the best!

I true classic. Can sometimes be over-driven (w active bass) in spite of an input roll-off, but aside from that this is the one to beat for manufactures of high end chorus pedals.

Sweetwater Advice

Robert Williams
This pedal was boutique before there was such a word and to this day is still a part of Eric Johnson's clean rhythm sound. Lots of great tones from subtle shimmer to all-out warble are easily found. Having the remote access option is cool so you can mount your pedals in a rack and reduce floor clutter.

Great Sounding Pedal...

The sound of this pedal is awesome. I've had this pedal since 2001. The bad thing is that the signal from my Gibson Les Paul and my PRS Custom both clip in the pedal. I'm a all the way up kinda guy.
To me, personally, the Flanger is way to "Metallic" and is useless. The pitch modulator, I have no use for. But the Chorus is where this pedal shines. close [-]
