The Frequency response is li... read more [+]sted as (-3db) . This is meaningless without a (+db) to establish the range of error. Example: (-3db, +15db) would be very poor whereas (-3db, +0db) would be good but not perfect. The SBX10 THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) is listed as 0.019%. This is obviously not including the speaker and can only be left to the assumption that it is measured at the internal amp output. A good THD for the unit would be 5%. However in it's price range up to 10% would be expected. Though this could even be low if M-Audio is afraid to post it . The unit is rated at 240 watts into 4 ohms. Seems like it's predecessor the BX10 was rated 240 watts into 8 ohms. Mathmatically the new SBX10 is approximately 30% less powerful but is "coincidentally" labled with the same wattage. All I want is good honest complete specs from M-Audio who figured out how to put a heavier magnet in a speaker cabinet that weighs less than it's BX10 and lowered the power to achieve better audio through a 4 ohm speaker. close [-]
