A Pro-Grade Boom Stand

H-stand with 62" mic boom. 49" to 73" height. This one has wheels.

This top-of-the-line boom stand features a variable, piston-type air suspension system to ensure microphone protection. It is equipped with silent-motion, ball-bearing swivel casters of hard rubber for friction-free and vibration-absorbing mobility.

The two-piece horizontal boom assembly is formed from 7/8" diameter cold rolled steel with a heavy-duty, die-cast, gyromatic swivel and an adjustable 6-lb. counterweight for precise and secure orientation. Tubing terminates with an adjustable mic holder swivel, complete with standard 5/8" - 27 thread to accept all microphones, holders, and adapters. Guide clips are supplied for cable attachment.

The vertical tube assembly is manufactured of 11/8" and 7/8" chrome-plated cold rolled steel and includes the wearproof Atlas Sound grip-action clutch for easy adjustment and positive locking. With the included wheels, the SB36W's height span is 49" to 73". A Pro Stand

Needed a boom stand for studio work. Looked at several lower priced stands, but decided to go for the SB36W. Definitely a heavy duty pro stand, all my other stands run and hide when this thing comes... read more [+] out. Easy to assemble, air cushioning helps with adjustments because the stand is heavy. Rollers are sturdy and work well, definitey need them with the weight of the stand. The boom really gives you a lot of reach. I use this stand with a Reflexion Filter. It works well, but need to add additional 10 pound counterweight to be able to fully extend boom with the Filter attached. Any less of a stand and you might have problems if you use a similar setup. My only dislike is the mic boom is in 2 sections and uses a coupling to connect the two parts, the coupling limits the distance that the boom can be retracted. Very happy that I spent a little more and got this stand. close [-]

missing part

Great mic stand. It was missing a washer for one of the wheels. Replaced it myself. The assembly direction were not clear.

Everything was exactly as promised. I was impressed with the phone call I received from your guy when I had just placed the order. He was very thorough and professional in every way. I love my new digital piano. Your wide selection and excellent service as well as your "3 Payment Plan" and the 2 year warranty sealed the deal for me on this purchase. No one else could come close.
