I've had one of these for roughly a year, and if you plan to leave it alone in a corner, you'll be fine.

Mine was intended, and is used for serving up network attached storage through a... read more [+]n Apple Airport Extreme. However, even while it sits stationary, any slight jostling (such as plugging/unplugging the USB cord from it's back) can, and in my case has led to the USB connector (inside the device) becoming loose.

All in all, I would say it's a useful device, but don't expect it to be sturdy. close [-]
