From Our Research Team:

This Powered Mixer Practically Runs Itself!

The Peavey Sanctuary Series is a breakthrough group of mixers specifically designed to make pro quality audio easy and cost-effective for houses of worship. See, Peavey knows that in most cases, churches and other worship centers simply cannot afford to hire an experienced sound technician. So they put their design team to work creating a mixer that can quite literally do most of the work all by themselves. For instance, the onboard Automix function will switch from lapel to pulpit microphones automatically and even turn the volume down when a mic is not in use. Special Mid-Morph Equalization adjusts to give clarity to voices while eliminating boominess, while the Feedback Ferret automatically seeks and destroys ear-piercing feedback. There's even a digital reverb and vocal enhancer onboard. Now add dual 500-watt power amplifiers, so you'll have plenty of clean power to drive any set of speakers. With an unwavering attention to detail, the Peavey Sanctuary Series are investments that will pay big dividends in ease-of-use and flawless audio quality for any worship services.

Peavey Sanctuary Series S-14P Features at a Glance:
  • 10 XLR mic and two stereo line inputs with Feedback Ferret
  • Four Automix channels with compression built-in
  • Two-band equalization on all channels plus Mid-Morph
  • Digital reverb plus vocal enhancer
  • Dual 500-watt power amplifiers

10 XLR mic and two stereo line inputs with Feedback Ferret
The Peavey Sanctuary Series S-14P is the best, most versatile mixer in its class. Most other mixers fall short by limiting the number of inputs and outputs, but the S-14P has 10 XLR microphone and two stereo line inputs, meaning you'll never come up short of channels. What's more, feedback (those ear-splitting squeals) is a thing of the past thanks to Peavey's Feedback Ferret automatic feedback eliminator. The best part of the Sanctuary Series is that the majority of the functions are under auto control, meaning you get superb sound quality without requiring a sound tech with a degree in audio engineering. Now that's what we call "User Friendly!"

Four Automix channels with compression built-in
Okay, Automix sounds impressive, but does it really work? You bet! The Peavey S-14P has four Automix channels onboard. That means the S-14P will take care of things like switching from lapel to pulpit mics automatically and turning down the volume of all channels not currently in use. A compression circuit on these patent-pending channels helps keep things from getting too loud or so soft nobody can hear a word. End result? Crystal clear audio with no extraneous noise.

Two-band equalization on all channels plus Mid-Morph
The very best mixers allow audio to be precisely tuned to a particular environment by using sophisticated equalization. The Peavey S-14P has two-band EQ on each channel, so your audio sounds crisp and clear, without a hint of harsh highs and booming lows. It even has a feature you won't find on many other pro mixers: A Mid-Morph control that can actually enhance vocal or music clarity, as well as eliminate the boominess that may result from less than perfect room acoustics.

Digital reverb plus vocal enhancer
To add some lush ambience, the Peavey Sanctuary Series S-14P has built-in digital reverberation. Use a little or a lot to compensate for overly dry rooms. A special vocal enhancer circuit means that everyone hears every word regardless of the speaker's oratory skills (or lack thereof).

Dual 500-watt power amplifiers
Peavey equipped the S-14P with two monster 500-watt power amplifiers. From small halls to the largest cathedral, these versatile amps have all the "juice" required to drive almost any set of speakers without a hint of distortion. With the S-14P, you have a pro-quality mixer and power amplifier in one rack mountable package.
