Customer Reviewsfrom East Hampton CT December 2, 2012Music Background: Professional singer songwriter Great BanjoMy six string banjo just arrived . I set the bridge with some online u tube instructions. It sounds great right out of the box. I wanted to change strings but the tailpiece only accepts loop end and I only had ball end guitar strings.. However it still plays and sounds great. I am very happy with this product. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and did not want to take time to learn banjo. This instrument sounds just like a 5 string banjo. It is truly amazing.Very happy and have not been able to put it down.from Stanwood, WA May 9, 2012Music Background: Student ExcellentReceived this yesterday from Sweetwater. Installed the bridge per banjo specs (12 fret to nut then same distance from 1/2 12th fret to bridge). Tuned it up and gave it to my daughter (it's hers) who started playing songs right away and she loves it. If you are guitarist and want to immediately play a banjo then get this. No learning curve at all! I own a SAGA III five string but there is definitely a learning curve to that one.from Spring, TX December 30, 2012Music Background: Hobbyist Great BanjoThis is a great banjo and sweetwater had a great price. My only complaint was that the banjo shipped without being set up. I had to set up the bridge and adjust the intonation myself. This isn't a problem since I'm a guitar player and know how to do this, but for someone who doesn't this would be a disappointment. I'm surprised that sweetwater did not set this up before shipping. Otherwise, great product and great price!
