Basically it's a average bass amp.September 20, 2008 Music Background: Songwriter/Vocalist/Bassist/Hobbyist/Student/Home Recordist It'll shake the walls on your lower octaves and is great for practice (NOT with a band!) or late night sessions before a gig when you can't quite get the bass... read more [+]line down but, don't wanna wake the kids neighbors or wife/husband. Made for playing with a cd player and made for the beginner (obviously) but, after playing around on it for over a year now I noticed that it has MAJOR down falls. 1st it is really not good for those that play with downtuning or picks. 2nd It has a habit of distorting alot at notes below the 12th frets. 3rd and last it could be a whole lot better with a limiter so that you don't have to worry about blowing your speaker when you rock out to some Slipknot. That it for the bad stuff the good stuff is that for 15 watts it has a 8" speaker which is pretty good for what you pay for. However it could be even better to have a limiter to make it even more useable/accessable to us Hard Rockers. close [-]
