This black beauty offers a basement-friendly 100 watts, complete with both gain and blend controls in the overdrive section, so you can bring the perfect amount of overdrive into your sound. The Rumble 100 combo's 4-band EQ helps to shape your sound, and the 3-button voicing palette sculpts the sound further. Choose between bright (adds a treble zing to the sound), contour (low-end boost), or vintage (classic bass tone with deep lows and vintage character). These give you a ton of flexibility to find your signature sound. The XLR line output can pump the tone you love straight into the PA for bigger gigs. This will make your sound tech happy, since it'll greatly simplify getting your signal into the PA. Need a little extra teeth for a particular song or passage? The Rumble 100's built-in overdrive has your back. Get the optional footswitch for instant onstage convenience.

More than just a solid performance tool

The Rumble 100 combo isn't just about performance, though; it also helps you practice. It's stuffed with a handy aux input that you can plug your iPod, laptop, drum machine, or other practice gear into. And there's an 1/8" headphone jack, so you can practice late into the night.

The Rumble 100

I got this to use as a practice amp.
I'm impressed with it's tone and well thought out filter switches.
Some amps offer too many options that I never use and require fiddling around just to find a solid tone.
Fender really distilled down the controls to make it easy to quickly switch between sounds I use.
Finger style, slap, vintage and a little distortion now and then.
The amp is also super lightweight and quality built.
I also love the peace of mind I get when I order from Sweetwater.
I know that if I didn't like the amp for any reason, not only could I send it back, but have a friendly Sweetwater tech help me.
Highly recommended.

Way Better Than Expected!

Couldn't be happier about the tones, power, performance and affordability of this little beast. So much more than I was expecting. I have a Fender Bassman 800 Rig for larger gigs and it is amazing with the 4x10 Cabinet - classic Fender tone!(See pic) But with this amp I wanted a much smaller light weight portable version of my Bassman tone for practice, studio, and small gigs. THIS AMP DELIVERS in Spades! Carry this with one hand up the stairs! Tons of power and volume for everything but a larger gig/venue, great tonal possibilities (I like the Vintage tone) AND the built-in overdrive to boot. I got a demo unit... and Sweetwater sent it with all original packing, tags, etc. I thought it was brand new. Super happy about this purchase!

Fender Rumble 100 combo bass amp

This bass amp is really a great one. Its light and its small. Its a 12 inch speaker cabinet and 100 watts of power driving it. It is loud enough for practice with my band which is two guitars, drums and bass. The tone from this little amp is what sets it apart in my eyes (ears?). Its very punchy and its articulate. I also own a Fender Rumble 500 head and a 115 cab for much larger gigs. I mean the 100 doesn't compare to the 500/115 combo when your talking about volume but when it comes to tone, this little 100 is the cats pajamas. Really nice. And it gets pretty loud in its own right anyway. So I believe that the amp would work fine in a small bar or in a restaurant but I have not tried it there yet. It's a great little amp. It does not allow for an extension cabinet but then again, I bought it for its size and weight. I also had a feeling that it would be loud enough for my band and purposes. The photo I posted with this review shows the Rumble 100 sitting on top of the Rumble 115 cabinet.
