I've had this for 3 months. I feel pretty safe hauling equipment around in this rack. It feels solid and tight, the top and bottom fit snugly. The rubber feet (bottom and side) are secure. The mounts for the rack screws are tough and not going anyway. Note however that there are no rear screw mounts for really heavy units that could use support in the back.June 29, 2009 Music Background: Instrumentalist, Mobile recordist, Music teacher SKB claims that they will replace it for free if it ever breaks, which is a good warranty, though I doubt this thing would break unless it's dropped really hard. It does seem a tad bulky, but not at all heavy when empty and the handles are pretty comfortable. It's dimensions in "travel mode" are 23" (front to back) x 22.5" (across) x 9.75" (top to bottom). Due to it being one piece of molded plastic, it does tend to warp a tiny bit, and this can make the top and bottom a little harder to put on, but not severely. There is also a weird little "hiding space" underneath where the plastic is molded around to make the rim. Make sure you check under there if you loose something small! One of the best things is that the parallel raised "beams" on the top surface are the perfect width for setting down a 15" macbook pro for mobile recording/DJ'ing, though you might want to throw down a non-slip pad first. close [-] Wrong depth

Good enough rack for the money!!! BUT the front rack rail to back lid depth IS NOT 19.88 inches :( it is only 19.25 inches what's the big deal? The big deal is that my computer needed 19.5".
