Probably should have come in the box

It's hard to drop another chunk of change for this thing when it's just a flimsy, thin piece of metal that only really exists to cover the ribbon cables you expose to rotate the I/O pod. It's primarily a cosmetic attachment.

The other annoyance is that the installation instructions in the manual are blatantly incorrect, referring to an incorrect number of screws, flat-head screws that don't exist, and show them in the wrong places.

the rotopod makes the mackie more accessible for connecting instruments. anyone can make this adapter fit and it works well
