Auralex Roominator Kit

I installed the kit with the addition of an extra 4 bass traps since the room was pretty long (12x20). the 1x1 tiles I mounted around the cieling, alternating the the maroon and grey tiles, with bass traps in each corner at the ceileing. The remaining tiles I mounted on the walls in four tile diamond configuration in the control room area, alternating maroon and grey again. The difference in room reverberations is un-believeable. My only issue was with the adhesive, which took a long time to set and required some patience to hold the tiles in plce until it set. To alleviate this I tacked the tiles up with a small finishing nails in addition to the adhesive. It took only a single small nail in the center of the tile, expediting the installation process considerably. This is a great product and works asthetically as well as acoustically.

Great improvement to room!

The tiles and bass traps really made an improvement to my basement studio. Echo to no echo in a matter of a couple hours.
