With a Roadster in your sonic garage, the Tweed/Brit debate becomes academic. From vintage cleans to fire-breathing modern hi-gain, virtually no amp sound is off limits. You want clean?
The Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster head has 4 channels; channels 1 and 2 are where clean lives. Which clean sounds do you hear for this particular guitar part? Mid-sixties blackface? Got 'em. AC30? Yup. How about a glassy Plexi? Absolutely. Why two clean channels? Well, this smart arrangement gives you Clean, Fat or Tweed voicings on channel 1.
Once you've tweaked your clean sound to perfection, you can copy it to channel 2 - with its Clean/Fat/Brit voicings - and massage it to create a more pushed version, or morph it into something else altogether.

How about high-gain?
In the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster head, channels 3 and 4 let you really push the envelope of high-gain possibilities. This is, after all, a 100W all-tube boutique fire breather. You get Raw, Vintage High Gain, and Modern High Gain voicings on both channels, and (as with the first two channels) you can engage in gainstaging horseplay and come up with everything from sweet retro crunch to a futuristic, face-melting wall of overdrive.

Innovative engineering
Not surprisingly, the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster sports cutting-edge engineering under its hood. With six 12AX7s in the wheelhouse and four 6L6s in the engine room, you've enough horsepower to run the Indy 500. You also get a pair of 5U4 Rectifier Tubes - and here's where it gets really interesting: you get to choose between the saggy bounce of the 5U4s - or the iron-fisted authority of silicon diodes. With independent 50/100 Watt power switches this multi-watt, channel-assignable monster lets you assign 2 or 4 power tubes to each channel, for either 50 or 100 watts of Class A/B Power. This means that your stadium amp is also your club amp. It also means that you may never have to buy another amp.

Packing near-infinite tonal and gainstaging possibilities, along with footswitchable channel assignment and variable power output,the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster does it all.
