Great for home theatre system

These are fantastic sounding speakers. I have them as front left and right in a 5.1 surround system and love them. They deliver solid bass and have great detail.

They blow away most everything I've listened to in the $400-$800 per pair price range, bookshelf or floor standing.

Buy these monitors!

If you want solid monitors and you have a half decent amp, then these are for you. The most flat response for the money and they can take some wattage. I'm using a 200W Alesis amp to push them and I have never bottomed out the woofers. What you hear is what you get on these beauties. Don't let the small 6" woofer either. It has a solid response down to 50Hz.
