McDSP's Retro Pack Native v5 plug-in bundle gives you a range of vintage vibe and flavor to shape up your tracks. Included in the bundle are three plugins - the 4020 Retro EQ, the 4030 Retro Compressor, and the 4040 Retro Limiter - all tuned with McDSP's attention to high-quality sound. The 4020 Retro EQ is a 4-band equalizer with a complimentary filter set. Its HF and LF bands are shelving EQ, and there are two additional parametric EQs at the HMF and LMF bands. A unique gain-dependent variable slop/Q system gives you a smooth vintage sound, with added intelligence for steeper responses at higher gains.

The 4030 Retro Compressor features an advanced output stage, which interacts with a wet/dry mix control to balance your compressed and uncompressed signals. An active attack and release design also lets you use the 4030 Retro Compressor for aggressive compression settings, without generating noticeable artifacts. The 4040 Retro Limiter combines a look-ahead brick-wall limiter function with several subjective treatments to make its limiting action subtle yet completely vintage. All three plug-ins in the Retro Pack v5 come preloaded on a McDSP green iLok, so you'll be ready to plug and play, right out of the box.
