Why did I give these a 5 star rating ? For the money they sound like a much more expensive monitor. I'm using them for practice and some mixing. For rehearsal they're fantastic. My SV-1 never sounded ... read more [+]better. For mixing they have a tight bass, smooth mid with a very adjustable high end. Once again... for the money "get them" get them NOW ! close [-]

Mid-range is nice, highs are OK, but bass is weak. However, you might find it not bad at all if you work on med/high volume.
