Customer Reviewsfrom Chicago, IL February 16, 2013Music Background: Professional musician, Recording engineer Excellent FilterThe sE Reflection Filter X is a great product and does a superb job. I like the new composite housing which makes it light weight and well balanced on the stand without the need for heavy mounting hardware. The workmanship is excellent and it works very well providing a tight sound. I was looking for a filter for my studio that would do the job but would not break the bank and this unit does it. I have recorded some vocal tracks with it and I am totally satisfied. The only thing I would ask for would be an adjustable mic rod or a choice of lengths. I am using a Blue Bluebird and when installed on the bracket sits high in the filter. If the mic rod was about three inches long it would sit right in the center pocket. This is not a big deal and easily remedied by using two mic stands one for the filter and one for the mic. I highly recommend this filter for those looking for a great quality excellent performing studio tool. For the cost you can't go wrong.from United States March 13, 2013Music Background: Recording Engineer, Student great!!Using this in my untreated room kills all reflection and have taken it on the go for on the location voice overs. I always get great sound with it no matter where I go though.from New York, NY May 2, 2013Music Background: Engineer, Pro Musician Good filter. Configuration issues. The filter does its job, minimizing feedback into mic for a clean recording. One annoying issue is that My XLR plug rests on the adjustable bar, making it hard to set my mic straight. It forces me to either pitch the might to the side, or pull it out to the farthest distance. I prefer my mic to be as close to the filter as possible without the shock mount touching. No wonder it was difficult to find pictures on the net with a cable attached to the mic.
