Great ADT - Just what I was looking for.

I have only used it minimally so I can't review other than the ADT which was pretty close to the real thing. Ah if I only had Lennon's voice! It is certainly better than using delay and faster than trying to sing the doubles.

Better Than the Reel Thing

The Reel Tape plug-ins sound very good on the tracks I tried them on; bass, drums, guitar and vocals.Â_ They seem more 'tape like' than other plug-ins I’ve tried.Â_ Tape saturation is a nice gentle compression plug when used sparingly or it can be pushed into distortion for a little more crunch or full out tape distortion. The flange and echo simulations are convincing and the algorithms used help to reduce some of the digital edge. There is also a tape hiss knob if you so desire to use it. Many of the controls, with the exception of the DRIVE, OUTPUT and HISS knobs, are quite subtle and take a careful listen when using them.

Overall I like Reel Tape Suite and will use it often.
