The flange and echo simulations are convincing and the algorithms used help to reduce some of the digital edge. There is also a tape hiss knob if you so desire to use it. Andrew StryffelerThe Reel Tape Suite is a go-to plug-in when I am mixing. I love the way this series sounds and the life it adds to my music. I use the flanger for the effect, the saturation to add some warmth and character to my drums, and will throw the delay on anything that needs dimension. If you are running Pro Tools, the Reel Tape Suite is a must-have!

ReelTape sounds amazing on your guitar tracks too. It can really smooth out the "snap" that you get out of a nylon stringed guitar and fill up the tone of the body.
