Red White and Blues Rocks!

I replaced the stock Eminence in my Fender Blues Deluxe with the Red White and Blues. The stock speaker had started to buzz, and after reading about various options I figured this would be a good upgrade since it is effective in open back cabinets, and reasonably priced. I should also say that I retubed the amp, and biased the power tubes at the same time. Well I am blown away, this amplifier has been transformed, with so much more bottom end tightness and overall tone.
Some may say the tubes and biasing were the key factors, but believe me, this speaker is great for 12' combos. I have never heard a better sounding version of this amp. It is one thing when you sit alone in front of it, but the proof was on stage. Two gigs, one indoors one outdoors, and this thing kicks ***. Not loud, just tone!!

Red white and blues

Ok, I bought a pair of these and put one in my 2002 Hot rod deluxe and one in my Super sonic 22. As far as the HRD there was a great improvement in tone over the stock speaker it mellowed out the highs and mids and the bass is a lil tighter in both the clean and drive channels btw, this speaker sounds its best when seriously cranked! Ok, as far as the SS22 the only reason I replaced the stock eminence speaker is because it was damaged. The RW&B sounds very similar to the stock speaker with most of the improvement being in the bass response ( lil tighter) either way it seems to me the RW&B is a very good upgrade for fender 1x12 tube combos as it dosent drastically change the "base" tone of your amp, it actully improves on what is already there. Oh btw, sweet water did an excellent job of packageing these speakers! And shipping was fast!

Very Good Sound

I won't say great just yet because I haven't really worn it in yet, after only one gig. I bought this to replace a Peavey Sheffield in an old teal stripe Peavey Bandit amp and I'm quite pleased with it. Very nice full range sound that works much like my Scorpion-equipped Peaveys.

Very good clean punchy tones and excellent overdriven. Plenty of bottom without getting muddy. I'm looking forward to really getting it loosened up!
