The New Reverb Vibe - ReVibe! A new plug-in from Digidesign designed exclusively for the new HD|Accel card, ReVibe provides Pro Tools TDM users with a reverb-modeling tool that can handle any reverberation task. The 96 kHz-capable ReVibe includes nine entirely new reverb algorithms combined with over 200 early room reflection/coloration models. Room Modeling ReVibe's innovative Room Modeling algorithms allow combinations of different room reflections and coloration. Interactive displays are used throughout the ReVibe plug-in, making it even easier to visualize and edit reverb characteristics. ReVibe reflects an entirely new approach to reverb. Its reverb modeling capabilities add an entirely new range of possibilities, which extend beyond any existing reverb technology. As such, ReVibe's ability to accurately model many types of real spaces as well as springs and plates is an ideal complement to Reverb One's classic digital reverb sound. ReVibe includes nine new reverb algorithms and over 200 Room Types/early reflections, enabling you to easily dial in the reverberant space you're seeking. Employing an innovative approach to room coloration, ReVibe's room characteristics - accurate representations of a room's "sound" or "ambience" - can be added to a reverb along with an early reflection. Early reflections and room coloration are adjusted via a single control called Room Type. Stereo or multi-channel reverbs ReVibe is a full-featured mono, stereo and surround reverb plug-in with an extensive set of room-modeling controls. It builds upon the intuitive user interface of Digidesign's Reverb One through increased functionality, while upholding the sound quality standards typical of professional Digidesign TDM plug-ins. While ReVibe is highly optimized for multi-channel processing, it also functions just as well in mono and stereo applications. Particularly useful in music production applications, all of ReVibe's multi-channel controls are also available in mono and stereo instances, and add more density and presence to the reverb. 96kHz support! ReVibe also includes native 96kHz processing, allowing for its algorithm to process audio at 96 kHz without the need for sample rate conversion. ReVibe is optimized for 96 kHz mixing and engineered to take full advantage of the increased power and memory of the new 321 DSP chips residing on the HD Accel card. Amazingly powerful, yet easy to "get" ReVibe's user interface utilizes some of the same interactive displays found in Reverb One, with enhancements that make them even more informative. Reverb reflections and shape can be displayed independently for front and rear channels. And Reverb EQ and Reverb Color have been combined into a single interactive graph that accurately displays the frequency and gain of the EQ and coloration. Digidesign ReVibe Features:
