A program that works both standalone and as a plug-in, you get amp modeling software from a company that designs and makes guitar amps with Peavey's ReValver MKIII!

Peavey ReValver MKIII at a Glance:
  • Tons of models
  • Complete with effects
  • Fully tweakable
  • MIDI mappable

Tons of models
Peavey packed tons of amp models into ReValver MKIII, giving you control over 15 amps, 12 preamps, and 9 power amplifer models - and that's not to mention the 150 speaker cabinets and microphone configurations you can play with to achieve a truly custom tone! You'll enjoy models of Peavey's best including the 6505, JSX, Classic, ValveKing, and Triple XXX amps that are based on the amps' original schematics. Since Peavey works every day designing amps from the component level up, ReValver captures each amp's nuance with amazing accuracy. Whether you're after British tone, something more bluesy, or a sonic wall of overdriven crunch, ReValver offers up its endless tonal possibilities to the spinnings of your own imagination!

Complete with effects
Not just amp modeling software, you can control a complete virtual pedalboard when you play through ReValver MKIII. Over 30 stompboxes and effects include various types of distortion, wah, tremolo, compression, limiting, delay, octaves, EQ, and tons more. Convolution reverb technology delivers complex, and smooth reverbs, including the must-have spring reverb sound. You also get 7 utility functions to complement your sonic work, including tuners, an analyzer, and splitters.

Fully tweakable
ReValver MKIII offers an unprecendented level of customization, designed with the tweak-head in mind! By right-clicking on any amp model, you can actually go inside and adjust the amp's tones and components on the Tweak Module GUI. Every single tube in every single amp can be tweaked or even replaced with any one of the 17 included tube types. With the simple move of a slider, you can adjust the schematics of any tube, and ReValver even lets you take the same level of control over power amp rectifiers, output transformers, and tone stacks. When you get to work tweaking ReValver, it's like you're inside the workshop, designing your own custom amp!

MIDI mappable
ReValver is a VST and AU compatible plug-in, yet works great as a standalone program - just plug into your audio interface, and start rocking out. If you have a MIDI controller with knobs or sliders, you'll also enjoy laying out each amp's knobs onto your controller, so it's like you're actually tweaking the knobs on an outboard amp yourself! Make adjustments to your presence, or add some more reverb without navigating with a mouse - ReValver makes it easy. You can record a performance into your VST- or AU-compatible DAW, as if you were truly reaching out and touching your own amp and stompbox controls!

I love ReValver! It has every type of amp you could want, tons of effects with flexible routing, and some really unique features not available anywhere else (you can build your own amp!). Peavey have taken their knowledge of building quality guitar amps and brought it to the digital realm; the result is simply astounding. Try ReValver and you'll never look back.

If you want tube tone on your computer.........This is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I never write reviews..ever....but I felt it necessary to leave on on this software. After getting this software, I installed it ( extremely easy). Then I opened Logic Pro and pulled up the Revalver P... read more [+]lugin. I simply strummed the guitar one time, and new I had just purchased something amazing. Before I new it 3hrs had gone buy. I still couldn't believe that there wasn't a tube amp directly in front of me. I have had guitar rig, and Line 6's Gearbox amp simulator software. They look like toys compared to this.
I figured...OK... this has to be to good to be true.
So I decided to see how it sounded recorded with other instruments. So I pulled up my toontrack Ezdrummer plugin and put down a quick little drum beat. Then I added a Peavy 6505, and the Flathill dual rectifier on 2 separate track. Did a little chuggin riffs on the one amp and a little lead riffs on the other. Bounced the tracks to my ipod and left for work. A few days later, I was driving in my car and listening to my ipod on shuffle. All the sudden my track started playing. I thought to myself...damn that is a nice guitar tone. I quickly checked the ipod to see who the artist was. It was me? Wow! I couldn't still couldn't believe that it was a software amp.
Now there will be those out there that say there is no substitute for a real tube amp and miced cab. Maybe. But lets face it, not to many of us can afford the studio time, or noise complaints from the neighbors.
So to sum it all up. If you want a bunch of tube amps and the convenience of getting professional sounding guitar tone on your home computer. Buy this software as soon as possible. At $249 you get way more than you pay for. Enjoy! close [-]

Revalver MKIII is in a class all by it's lonesome, I have been playing guitar for 20+ years and if I close my eyes and played through it, I would never believe it was software. Simply incredible that ... read more [+]this sound and sonic feel can be created in a software. I have used every other guitar sim out there and they all pale in comparison. I can't stress enough how incredible this software is and the fact that it is cheaper than almost all the others is just ridiculous. I can finally make real guitar tracks without a real guitar amp. PEAVY, Alien Connections "take me to your leader" This is the fastest I have ever purchased a software because I was literally afraid they would run out :o) Honestly download the demo and prepare to be amazed. Sweet, ringing, warmth of tube amps in a piece of software WOW!!!!!!! close [-]

If you are a tone freak like myself, then you will love Revalver.

I've used literally ALL of the software packages out there and have loved them until now. ReValver may not look as cool as some of them, but it's just as easy or easier to use. That said, the reas... read more [+]on we all want software is the sound and NOTHING sounds as good as this. I read on Peavey's site that they used schematics to create the sounds and I believe it. I really don't get into the 'tweaking' thing all that much, but being able to change the power supply in a Marshall or Classic 30 to a undermathed and sagging supply really has a cool '70's vibe. You will not be dissapointed with this software, no matter if you want to 'tweak' it or not. close [-]

Our Customers Say...

When it came time to start from scratch with the studio, I had a lot of questions. The Sales Engineers I've worked with are really friendly and patient, and the guidance they provided was invaluable; they basically helped build the studio.
