“I've owned a Rat since 1984 and have since gotten the Duecetone. I can't say how much I love these pedals. I keep looking for others to come along. But I still go back to my Rat. Everything dirty in anyway that I've recorded, I've used the Rat. I'm planning to order another Rat II as a backup! I've heard mods work well for these pedals. "I still own my original Rat. I got one of these last year, and am happy to say that it is true to the original Rat tone. Very useable tones allow the guitar to still be recognized. If you want the hair-band sound, this is it."
