Customer Reviewsfrom bay area/s.f. May 2, 2012Music Background: live performance RT-10kfirst bought the red shot to trigger bass drum sounds on my roland spd-sx.worked fine for 3 weeks, then i took it to a gig and everything was messed up. had to turn the threshold all the way down for the roland pad to receive a signalat all, and then the bass guitar was triggering it. the snare drum....problems from every direction. tried for a couple weeks to figure out if some technology was over my head and i had some settings wrong...gave up and bought the roland trigger to match the roland pad. no problems since. just got back from a 10 gig run, and it worked flawlessly the whole time. also, for gigging, he roland is waaaay easier to set up and take down. usually we have backline provided, so I have to install the trigger each night and it takes 2 seconds. wish i hadn't gone cheap and tried the red shot first, cuz there were a few wasted gigs that resulted. from Buffalo, New York March 15, 2012Music Background: Hobbyist The best way to expand your drum sound. These triggers are the single best product you can buy to expand the sonic possibilities for a drum kit...from United States January 24, 2012Music Background: Pro Musician RT-10KEasy to install and works great with SPD-30 OCTOPAD to trigger sounds and expand my acoustic drum kit.
