Customer Reviewsfrom New york, NY July 2, 2012Music Background: Playing guitar for 24 years, chasing tone. Quality resonator and affordableAfter a trip down south, I became interested in some of the more traditional blues instruments. I've been playing guitar for 24 years, but mostly a rock guitar player. I was in the market for a resonator that would fit my skill level and current guitar collection (I don't have any low end guitars and I started playing slide just 1 week ago). I went around to the big box stores and was appalled at the current made in asia offerings: guitars literally falling apart at the seams, sold for cheap but new prices! I played 6 resonators, which sounded like hot garbage and didn't project well. Enter Sweetwater expert salesguy David Mikautadze. Not only did he assure me the Wechter didn't feel like a toy, but even sent me an audio clip of the exact same guitar he was sending me! I received the guitar, set up the way I asked, and this guitar is a professional grade instrument in every way. It projects well, has a beautiful range of tone, has that "rocks in a garbage can" resonator sound to it in spades and feels and plays very solid.
