Great Sound, Poor Quality Control

Best sounding guitar I've played. Received as a gift, so I didn't get to look at it first.
First, the pick guard is placed partly obscuring the rosette and is not even placed symmetrically. They're all like that (you can see it in the picture), and the folks at Gibson told me that, despite people complaining about it, the decision was made to continue to place them this way.
There were numerous small wood chips and a staple which had to be shaken out of the body. The interior bracing, unlike every other decent guitar, was rough, apparently not having been sanded down to remove the fuzz. Finally, the fret ends are sharp and project just a little too far out (and not evenly), making the neck feel like that of a cheap guitar. These issues are not what I have ever found in guitars 1/10th the price of this one.
I've fixed the problems myself, but I won't buy another Gibson, despite the incomparable sound.

Amazing guitar!!

I have been looking for a Taylor for a long time now and they always sounded a bit to bright. Then I tried the Gibson j45 tv! It had the exact classic sound and feel I wa looking for. And a perfect beautiful balance of treble and bass. It is my first nice accustic and I love it!! Beautiful guitar! The best accustic I have ever played! Now the case is incredible it holds alot o gear and is fits the guitar perfectly with absolutely no wobble! And is very durable!! It will protect you guitar from anything out there!! Overal worth every penny!

Best flat picker I've played

This is the best all round guitar I've played and owned, I've owned my share of top of the line guitars. Has the bass and volume of a Martin hd28. The best way discribe the sound of this guitar is"brilliant". Very easy to play because of the shorter scale. I found my guitar I will grow old with. The customer service was excellent. My sales person was nathon. He went above and beond the call of duty. And no sales tax and free shipping, you can't beat it. I will always check here first when I shop for gear.
