Customer Reviewsfrom Knob Noster, Missouri USA May 22, 2012Music Background: hobbyist You get what you pay for.....and then some on this one!Just got one of these babies from sweetwater. Right out of the box I noticed that it needed a slight tweak to make it play to my standards. However, once this guitar was set up, it played as well as a guitar twice the price. The pickups are probably the low point, since they don't have much "thump" to them. They're kinda weak, but again, most of have our favorite pickups out there and swapping would be a breeze. But overall, for $500 you can't go wrong with this!!!!! (a case would have been nice though)from Virginia December 7, 2011 Jackson RRXTBody is slightly lighter, and the neck is much thinner than my RR5FR, which makes the guitar much more comfortable to play in my opinion. The pickups do leave a little to be desired, the "Duncan Designed", the same ones that came stock on the older DK-2 models. Not horrible pickups, but certainly not top quality. A nice feature not mentioned in the product description is the guitar came from the factory with the Jim Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks! Overall, I'm really impressed with the guitar considering the $500.00 price tag.
