Guitar Tone For Days - Plus Massive Switching Control!

The RP1000 is DigiTech's most advanced guitar effects pedalboard system ever. Not only does it include a killer collection of 160 effects and 200 presets to create an incredible range of tones, but it also sports an effects switching system to route internal effects as well as your own external stompboxes. Just call up presets across the RP1000's 14 footswitches and tweak the six knobs to reach your sound. You also get a built-in phrase looper with 20 seconds of record time and an onboard expression pedal with the DigiTech RP1000!

DigiTech RP1000 Effects Pedalboard at a Glance:
  • All-in-one guitar tone monster
  • Integrates easily into your existing stompbox and amplifier setup
  • 14 switches, six knobs, and an expression pedal for nailing your sound
  • USB audio streaming for recording
  • Phrase looper for on-the-fly overdubs and tonal layers

All-in-one guitar tone monster
The DigiTech RP1000 sports 40 tone libraries and 40 effects libraries and over 160 effects and 200 presets - 100 factory, 100 user - so you can dial in a near-limitless range of tones. A huge bank of choruses, delays, amp models, and cabinet models give you the creative power to create a killer signal chain. And a built-in expression pedal lets you perform the Whammy, wahs, volume, and other parameters in real time. There's even a chromatic tuner onboard, so it's easy to get creative with alternate tunings or just make sure you're rocking in perfect standard or drop D.

Integrates easily into your existing stompbox and amplifier setup
Whether you're after a gentle delayed-out soundscape one minute or an all-out crunching shred-fest the next, you can switch easily between setups and tones with the RP1000. What's more, it's designed to complement your existing stompbox and effects setup, not over-rule and reorganize it. Thanks to its Stompbox and Amp loops, you can switch your external stompboxes in and out right on the RP1000 - just like on the professional rigs. Just select your presets and engage your tone, without doing an effects pedal tap dance. And because there's an amp/cabinet bypass onboard the RP1000, you can easily turn off the RP1000's internal amplifiers and cabinets to leave your amp's tone alone, then engage them for an all-out different sound whenever you want it.

14 switches, six knobs, and an expression pedal for nailing your sound
There's nothing like an abundance of footswitches and knobs to really dig in and create your tone - both live and before-hand at home. Thanks to 200 presets - 100 internal and 100 user - you have a ton of points to launch from. Ten dedicated footswitches let you access ten different presets on the pedalboard at once - and you can bank between them easily. You can also use the stompbox in Pedalboard mode, which lets you use footswitches 6-10 as dedicated controls for cueing in compression, distortion, chorus, delay, and reverb. And when Amp/Cabinet Bypass is used with the Pedalboard mode, you'll have 100 different pedalboards under your reign - that's serious tonal horsepower for the stage or the studio.

USB audio streaming for recording
The RP1000 is designed to give you all the tools you need - from practice to recording. Once you've ironed out some new riffs or leads you can easily connect the RP1000 to your computer via USB and record them using included Cubase LE4 music production software. The USB connection also serves as a handy tool to edit and archive your presets with the downloadable X-Edit Librarian software.

Phrase looper for on-the-fly overdubs and tonal layers
If all that functionality wasn't already enough, DigiTech added a killer Phrase Looper to the RP1000. You can create up to 20-second overdubs and take full control voer Stop, Play, and Overdub. Whether you want to practice a lead over the basic rhythm riff or perform a massive one-man jam onstage, you've got the tools you need inside the RP1000.

GREAT Pedalboard

by Derek W. from Hudsonville
January 28, 2012
Music Background: Home recorder of guitar, vocal, and piano
This pedal board is an amazing thing. I bought one almost new off of craigslist and couldn't be more pleased it. The board has a bunch of options including stompbox inputs, 160 interenal stompboxes,... read more [+] an expression pedal, USB audio streaming for recording, phase looper, MANY different effects, and other things. It's a ton of fun to play with and would work great for almost any musician wheather recording or playing live sound. If playing live sound, you can program the 6-10 banking buttons to be preset to the certain effect(s) you want for a particular song. This is also deffinetly a pedalboard for the more advanced musician; however, it can also be used in simple ways and work great for the begginner musician. Overall, I give it a 5/5 star review. close [-]

I'm spoiled now!!

by Doug Carpenter from Maryland

I've been a user of Digitech equipment for years and I'm glad to see nothing has changed with quality, sound or performance of their units. I decided it was time to rebuild my rig and I wanted to go ... read more [+]with a simple, incredibly reliable, easy to use, and diverse set up. I'm currently running Schecter guitars through the digitech into a 15 band eq, then into a carvin TS100 power amp which goes into a Recto 2x12 cab. The sound is just beastly and becasue I'm letting the unit do it's thing like a multi effects unit should be used, it's the optimal set up for pro quality flexability. close [-]

best effect system hands down

by Ruben Trevino from Katy, TX

Ive played them all people, and the RP1000 by far is the BEST system out there period. And, it records great! Digitech really came up with a winner on this piece and it shows they listened to musician... read more [+]s who wanted flexibility. Ive recorded with it and have gotten superb results, although I prefer to use Sonar DAW software, I have no problem connecting with USB. Unlike other units out there most of them dont have decent sounds or features that are practical in a live situation unlike the RP1000. I highly recommend this unit, and get yourself a gator gig bag for it too! My band recently wanted to perform Pride, and I was able to nail Edge's sound perfectly with this bad boy. Digitech makes great product, roadworthy, tough, and they have superior dna in their technology. Dont waste your money on other systems out there, this works great out of the box. You can call Digitech and ask questions and talk to real live person, as they still maintain human relations with customers unlike other companies that dont. Great investment, built like an M1 Abrams tank! close [-]

Way too much fun

by Ryan Deusenberry from Carson City, Nv.

I upgraded to this unit last month from the Rp500. I love that I can intergrate my stompboxes with it, and use amp loops wit it. But what I have found is my own sound with just my amp and stompboxes. ... read more [+]I cant tell you how much fun I am having. I am compossing more music than before. very easy to use. Also I have integrated my Rp 500 with this unit so my possibilties are even more endless. And running 2 metal pedals in this mix.

I've tried alot of multi effects units looking for something that can actually use easily and with has other types of effects. Unlike all the other ones out there. So get this thing and be inspired to rock... close [-]

Blown away

by Michael Pike from Livermore, CA
August 12, 2009
Music Background: Gigging musician - 1-2 times per week.
I bought this after watching their clinician's demo. He had it connected to an Orange amp and was using its preamp. This is the first multi effects that does this! No longer am I forced to use pedals.... read more [+]

When I got it home it took a few minutes to understand the wiring but I ended up using 3 20' cables and zipping them together to form a sort of snake. It sounds great with my Vox AC-30. The RP1000 sits out front while my amp is at the back of the stage with the 3 cables running to it. I also just got the HardWire pedal, it's pretty cool. Why doesn't DigiTech advertise them? They're absolutely cool!
I would recommend buying this. My Line 6 X3 is now collecting dust except for when I record and need to get one particular heavy tone which it rules. Gigwise, the RP1000 is the most solidly built effect (including pedals) that I've ever owned. close [-]

Our Customers Say...

When it came time to start from scratch with the studio, I had a lot of questions. The Sales Engineers I've worked with are really friendly and patient, and the guidance they provided was invaluable; they basically helped build the studio.
